Science proves that classical conditioning works to get results.
Doggie Talkies follow in the same principle. For example:
The dog activates the RED talkie which says " I want to go out". You, the owner, immediately let the dog out. After a few repetitions of this process, the dog will learn that by touching the red talkie they get to go out. HAPPY DOG ! Happy dog has now learned and feels satisfaction knowing that they have also made you happy too. When the dog has learned the function well enough then you can decide to say "later, not now, or Hey, I just let you out." The same follows for the YELLOW and BLUE talkies.
You must use your discretion and reward them only when you feel it is necessary.
It is best to secure each talkie in the places they belong. RED hanging by the door, YELLOW by the food bowl and BLUE by the water dish. By doing this, confusion is avoided and they learn to understand that the talkies are not toys but ..........
